VERY Rare Bulldog Woodworking Plane (Complete) - SOLD

The last ever fully completed figural bulldog woodworking plane by prominent plane maker, the late Darrell Chapnick. We acquired 12 planes, directly from his estate, this one fully completed, another finished without pierced scroll-work and the remaining as incomplete casts. These planes are the last of their kind & amazing collectors pieces.

Description from Chapnick Planes - These works of art were conceived by Chapnick Planes owner, Darrell Chapnick and then carefully executed through the hands of a master sculptor, who hand sculpted every fine detail into a prototype clay model. The waxes, pattern boards, molds, ect are all created by hand in house, including the machining operations and both lost wax and sand casting processes. Every single plane is painstakingly hand polished and finished to gem-like perfection.
