Brilliant story of a Bull-Dog's life written by himself, which begins "I was one of a set of three Bull-Dog puppies born in an old Square box that stood in a disused room forming part of the back premises of a house in Folkestone. My Mother was a great lady in her way, and moved quite in the upper circles of that town so much so indeed that when we were young we were never permitted to speak to any of the common dogs we met in our walks abroad".
